Soothe & Treat With Pixi Glow Tonic

This post is definitely long overdue. I'm on my 4th Pixi Glow Tonic bottle now and I guess it's about time I'm sharing my insight with you lovelies. I still receive messages asking me about the PRP treatment that I did few year ago which you can read here. It's a very expensive treatment and I can't afford to keep doing it on regular basis so I've been doing a little research, looking for cheaper alternative to treat my less than perfect skin. I've heard a lot of great things about Pixi Glow Tonic and decided to get it right away when I saw it back in stock at Sephora.

Realistically speaking, I knew perfectly well that my deep acne scars won't go away anytime soon. What I really had in mind is to make it looks less prominent over time and the only way I know to do that without costing a fortune is with proper exfoliation. Of course to find one that can do it well without irritating your skin is not that easy. So I purchased the travel size first to avoid disappointment. Pixi Glow Tonic comes in various sizes by the way (15ml/100ml/250ml) and available in 2 different type; liquid and cotton pads for you to choose from.

According to their website, Pixi Glow Tonic is describe as an exfoliating toner that gently accelerates cell renewal to reveal a brighter, glowing complexion. Not only that, it's also infused with aloe vera to balances, heals and soothes your skin and enhanced with ginseng to energize and improve skin circulation. The 5% Glycolic Acid in it helps exfoliates and purifies the skin while refines the texture to make it looks and feels smooth. This cult favorite is hypoallergenic and formulated without alcohol, making it an ideal toner for all skin type, even the sensitive one.

Moving on to my personal thought, let's begin with the packaging, shall we? I like that the bottle is see through and made from plastic. Might not looks luxurious but it served the purpose well. You can easily dispense the toner without spilling all over and it's travel friendly too. The consistency is very watery with a little unpleasant scent which I can't really describe. It doesn't lingers that long so I'm quite okay with that. It absorbs pretty quickly and despite the nature of the product, didn't dry out my skin like any other scrubs or exfoliants that I've tried out before.

If you have extremely sensitive skin; this toner is specifically made for you! It's so gentle, you can even use it twice a day without aggravate your skin condition. My skin for example can be very sensitive at times so I normally use facial scrub when I really need to. Pixi Glow Tonic on the other hand, removes my skin impurities extremely well in a calming and soothing way. Another great thing is, it's really good at keeping acne at bay. I only got 2 new one which probably emerged because I skipped using it for couple of days during my trip to Johor last year.

Other than the scent, I have nothing but love for this baby. It seems to suit my skin perfectly and deliver all its claims and promises. If you're looking for something to soften up and brighten your complexion, I highly recommended Pixi Glow Tonic especially if you happened to have acne prone, combination skin like mine. Until we meet each other again, I'm wishing you a happy and glorious month ahead lovelies, adieu~
