Picture Perfect @ IQ Studio

It's hard to believe that we'll be leaving 2020 in less than 24 hours... We bid farewell to 2019 with so much hopes and dreams but 2020 definitely teach us to be more thankful and learn to appreciate all the things that we used to take for granted before. I see people around me deeply affected from this health crisis and there's nothing more I wish than a safe and healthy environment for all of us to live in.

Ammaar's First Day Of Work @ KidZania, KL

Hello lovelies, I guess it's not too late to wish all of you a very Happy New Year! How is your 2020 so far? Mine is pretty calm surprisingly but hey, it's too early to say, who knows what the future might hold! A little recap for those of you who might be wondering, my baby boy Ammaar is not so little anymore, he will be turning 5 this May and already in preschool this year. He's such a great kid, I'm beyond grateful, Alhamdulillah. Always so gentle and kind, funny and independent too. Can't believe how fast he is growing up, I can barely keep up!

Ammaar Zahran Is Officially 3!

Technically, Ammaar Zahran is already 3 last May but as usual, I like to take my time writing about the object of my affection. If you knew me well, you probably noticed how reserved I can be when it comes to everyone I loved and hold dear. Surface stuff like OOTD and beauty review, I don't really mind sharing that for the whole world to see but intimate moment with my loved one, I like to keep it private and confidential. I do however make an exception for my son's birthday every year as a tradition that I intend to keep for as long as I lived =P

Ammaar Zahran Turns 2!

Somebody turns 2 recently and believe it or not, I still can't get the hang of it! He may be bigger physically but in my heart he'll always be my baby. He seems to adore his daddy a lot more lately... Always following him around, copying his every move and sometimes even gang up together against me, pfttttt~ Despite all that, I know he love me too in his own weird way. Besides, I can't really find any reasons why someone would enjoy squeezing my nose and cheeks if it's not out of love, right? Or maybe he just like to see me blushing, lol

Bloom & Grow + Mothercare Mother's Day Celebration @ Bangsar Shopping Centre

In conjunction with Mother's Day celebration this year, Bloom & Grow; a distributor of top infant, toddler and maternity brands across the Asia Pacific and Mothercare Malaysia hosted a special moms get-together along with their little ones. I was invited with my son to the fun-filled event which took place at Mothercare, Bangsar Shopping Centre recently and we really glad we did! It was a lovely celebration indeed where mothers and kids get to work together and bonded over an afternoon of fun and joy. Of course there's always drama involved when it comes to my cheeky boy, Ammaar Zahran. I'll get back to that later but I guess the pictures below can tell them all, lol

Surviving Motherhood : Mr. Drama King

I've talk about how devastating it is to see my little boy struggling with pain in my previous Surviving Motherhood entry here. However, don't let that discourage you because motherhood also comes with a lot of perks! One of the most fascinating one is when you see your child learning new tricks everyday. You'll be amused when you noticed how much they imitates or mimics people around them and guess what? I think I've raised a Mr. Drama King!

Surviving Motherhood : Unbreak My Heart

It's true, nothing breaks a mother's heart more than seeing her child in pain. I thought I'm one tough cookie but when I saw my son putting up a brave face while the doctor insert the needle on his hand, I cried like a baby... In fact I'm still crying whenever I'm thinking of that moment, how my little baby try to comfort his weepy mommy with his reassuring gaze, that's without a doubt a super heroic move in my book T_T

Surviving Motherhood : Baby Shopping

Looking at our current economic situation, I can't help but thinking thoroughly before making any purchases. Just like any other parents, I still want to give the very best for my son even if it means I have to cut down on some of my expenses. But no, I won't spoil him with designer items regardless of how much I love him... Unfortunately, good quality products doesn't always come cheap so I have to find ways to get it for a reasonable price instead. I'm very lucky that my son is not a picky eater and wasn't allergic to any foods so far. He do have sensitive skin that's prone to insects bites and rashes though which makes me a little bit particular in terms of choosing his body products.

Happy 1st Birthday, Ammaar Zahran!

Whenever I'm feeling blue, I'll take a look at your pictures and I'll be whole again~ Yes my darling Ammaar, that's exactly how I feels about you, honey! You've bring so much joy into our life and honestly, I can't even remember how I've been living all this while without your presence. Okay, a little big dramatic there but hey, I'm all about drama these days especially when you have a toddler who seems to think that he owns you =D

Keep This Love In Photographs @ IQ Studio, Hulu Langat

Nothing keep the memories and love more alive than photographs (so Ed Sheeran says) And just like any other mothers,  documenting my son growth and taking pictures of him is definitely something I enjoy doing but let's face it, I'm obviously no professional... So I've been toying with the idea of having our family official photoshoot for ages and when IQ Studio invited us for their soft launch last weekend, I couldn't be any happier. Finally, we can have the family portrait I always dreams of and me being me, I mentally pick color coordinate outfit for the three of us right away! We gonna be in fifty shades of blue - kidding it's only 3 shades of blue, lol

Surviving Motherhood : The Guilt Trip

One of the most challenging thing that I never thought I'll have to deal with when it comes to motherhood is actually the guilt trip... It's not easy to juggle between your work, family, friends, your passion and your study, sometimes I'll start questioning whether I'm a good mother for still wanting to do all these even when I know I have a little one who clearly needs my undivided attention. I feel guilty when I have to leave my son to work everyday, I feel guilty when I spend my time with my friends every now and then, I feel guilty when I have to attend my classes on weekend, in fact I even feel guilty when I'm buying something for myself instead of him!

Assalamualaikum, Ammaar Zahran

All my life I always dreams of having a little family of mine with miniatures version of myself, clad in matching outfit + attitude and ready to rock the world and Alhamdulillah, my prayers were answered on 22nd of May 2015 with the arrival of the love of my life; Ammaar Zahran ❤_❤ I never knew I'm capable of loving someone so very much and looking at him, sleeping soundly next to me every night making me feel deeply humbled and blessed to be given such joy, thank you Allah for this beautiful gift =)
