Bargain Hunting, Hijab Shopping @ Carousell

If you think you can't shop and save these days, well think again because I'm about to show how wrong you really are. I live for love, food and shopping obviously; in fact when I'm feeling down, a little shopping will pick me up like nothing else will. But what makes me even more than happy actually is when I managed to bargain my way into something that I like! Now shopping and saving is definitely possible with the help of my new best friend, Carousell.

Sugarscarf Escapade 2016 @ Metal Bees, Petaling Jaya

I squeezed in my schedule to watch 2 out of 3 shows during Rayalution Zalora Raya Fashion Festival 2016 few weeks ago which you can read about the first session here. Moving on to the second runway show, the participating designers are  Fazbulous by Fazura, Kree, Minaz and Sawdaa by Mizz Nina. All of them infused different elements to your raya with beautifully made ready to wear outfit that's timeless, classic and stylish.

Rayalution Zalora Raya Fashion Festival 2016 : Arda Putra | Lubna | Poplook | Bella Ammara + Sugarscraf

For two consecutive year, Zalora Malaysia team up again with a number of creative local designers in conjunction with their Rayalution Zalora Raya Fashion Festival 2016 and this time around, a mixture of big names like Hatta Dolmat, Fizi Woo to popular celebrities collaboration such as Fazbulous by Fazura and Sawdaa by Mizz Nina showcasing their strongest look to capture the attention of Malaysian's fashionista. I was there to get a closer look at my favorite fashion labels and of course, scouting for my raya outfit in the process as well. In the first session, 4 designers from Arda Putra, Lubna, Poplook and Bella Ammara + Sugarscarf get the mood going with their special raya collection with Zalora Malaysia runaway show. Let's check out some of the lovely pieces, shall we? I know you can't conceal your excitement already!

Galeri Hajra's Special Launch with Wawa Zainal @ Bandar Baru Bangi

I believe Wawa Zainal is a name that needs no introduction; this mom of two is pretty much everywhere nowadays with her hit TV show, her successful online business and of course her recent collaboration with Galeri Hajra as their brand muse and ambassador. Her bubbly personality and cute demeanor is definitely a perfect match for Galeri Hajra stylish and trendy hijab line which fit women from all ages and background. Trust me, everything she wears looks so lovely, you'll feel the need to get them all desperately!

Zizareen Batik Inspired Hijab Collection Launch @ Bebebundo

Don't you just love how versatile Batik prints can be, you can give a modern twist by wearing it as a dress or going traditional as kurung or kebaya =) The vibrant colours and design will definitely turn heads either way but I've yet to see batik prints immortalize in hijab collection until I came across local fashion label, Zizareen couple of months ago. Since I wear Batik all the time, I like to explore different medium to rock it without compromize my style and I'm so glad I have Zizareen lovely batik inspired hijab line to help me with that!

Benang Hijau Hijab Collection @ Zalora, Malaysia

Benang Hijau might not be as popular as the other hijab brands that we usually came across in the local fashion scene like Sugarscarf, Naelofar Hijab or Bella Ammara but do you know that Benang Hijau hijab collection offers the same quality with lower price tags? Despite the little hiccups, Benang Hijau slowly getting the attention from stylish hijabista here in Malaysia especially from the instant shawl lovers who constantly searching for an easy and practical alternative that's not only fashionable but Muslimah compliant as well.

There's something about love and music that keeps the world go round but let's not forget about fashion and beauty which is equally important from my perspective... Last week I was lucky enough to witness a beautiful collaboration of music and fashion at Ariani x Creation by Siti Nurhaliza launch at Royale Chulan, Kuala Lumpur. Obviously, I don't wanna missed catching the first glimpse of the partnership between these 2 huge name in their respective industry and let me give you reasons why you shouldn't missed it out as well =)

Geometrical Affair with OwlbyND - Love Me Not Hijab Collection

I've been developing a rather strong obsession with printed scarves lately all thanks to the rise of my plain dress collection that I kind of inherit from my sisters, hehe =P The truth nothing but the truth fact is, I'm still far far away from my pre-pregnancy weight that I'm feeling almost depressed whenever I looked at my wardrobe T_T So my lovely sisters lend me some of their outfits to cheer me up and of course I have to get matching printed scarf to go with it, right? I came across our local actress Nora Danish hijab label, OwlbyND recently and I think I'm hooked for life!!! She really know what she's doing because all of them looks so stunning ^_^ 

Stylish Hijab @ Zalora Malaysia

Just like any other muslim women who wear hijab out there, I have a pretty extensive hijab collection on my own as well, some of them are gifts from my family and friends but most of it I purchased from time to time according to the latest style and trend. I'm pretty sure you have more than 10 scarves in your collection too, am I right? And yes, in every single colour you can think of, isn't it? Not only that, you willing to queue up for hours just to get hijabs from your favourite brand during their sale too, right? Welcome to my world then =)

Fashion Intervention with Elya Shazleen...

When it comes to fashion, I'm fiercely loyal =) I always stuck with the same style over and over again~ I pretty much dress myself with the same stuff throughout the years (different colors and pattern of course, lol) Its not just my outfit and shoes, I even wear the same hijab style (Bawal scarf) for almost 16 years, can you believe it? Even my mom change her style every now and then!!! I'm so old fashion at heart I guess =P

That was before I got caught up with the lace obsession bug early last year, I bought myself tons of lace products from tops, lingerie to shoes ^_~ And now, I come across another extension to my lace fascination, it's the "lace hijab" girls!!! =) I know it's not exactly a ground breaking discovery but when I accidentally stumbled upon Elya Shazleen FB page, I think I found a healthy way to channel my lace fever to another direction, lol

The simplicity of the hijab and the beautiful manipulation of the lace itself is quite creative I must say and after deliberating for quite sometime, I decided to give it a shot and quickly registered myself for her Play Date/Jumbo Sale event last week and feeling very excited over it like a teenage girl waiting for her crush to pass her at the school hallway... (sorry, I watch way too many teenage show lately xD)

Being one of the early birds, I was given a rare opportunity to get to know up close and personal and learning lots of interesting tips about hijab from the founder & owner of the Elya Shazleen Hijab herself, Ms. Elya Shazleen ^_^ She's very lovely and down to earth, just like what I imagine she would be and one more thing, she didn't treat my never ending question as anything but thirst for fashion (big words, I know =P) Elya shown us the simplest way to rock the turban style and wear her hijab series which I did record but having trouble to upload it from my camera, sigh~

Besides that, each of us were given a set of doorgift which include a booklet on how to wear the hijab, sample of Cosmoderm cleanser and also a brooch which I think is a very cute touch, wink2 And of course me and my lace-a-holic self bought couples of hijab to bring back home too @_@ My fav is definitely the Dahlia Elite hijab series which comes in plenty of wonderful colors, I have to literally restrain myself from buying every shades available and quickly paid and leave before I'm losing the battle, haha =D

If I don't get the "lace craze" out of my system soon, I think I'll be a walking lace before I know it, hehe =P But the most important thing right now, all I want to do is enjoying my infatuation while it lasts, all the intervention can wait I guess...
