Everything from choosing the ingredients, preparing the meals to enjoy it with your whole family is definitely an experience I wish to relive over and over again.

To what extent you'll go when it comes to protecting your heart? Well, I didn't really mean what do you do to keep it from being broke by any of the hot bloke, what I actually talking about here is how do you shield your heart literally, from the heart disease and bad cholesterol? Nestle Omega Plus® Milk With Oats Launch @ One World Hotel

According to the research, preventative heart care is not a top-of-mind consideration for most Malaysian adults, as heart disease is usually perceived as an illness that affects the elderly. Contrary to that believe, there's more and more Malaysian in their thirties have arteries akin to those in their seventies due to their unhealthy habits. The fast paced lifestyle and strong food culture are among the major contributors which ultimately lead to cardiovascular issues at a younger age. Afraid not lovelies because Malaysian can now power up their hearts with Nestle Omega Plus® Milk With Oats; the first in market combined action of two naturally derived cholesterol lowering ingredients, Articol® and Beta-glucan launched recently at One World Hotel.

Dazzle Pretzel @ Pretz n' Beanz, Bangsar

I never knew that my friendship with these 10 lovely ladies that I had a staycation at Ajlaa Village with earlier this year will blossom into a tight knit sisterhood (we called ourselves #AjlaaGegirls btw) since all of us came from different background and profession. Guess what, we become closer more and more every day, sharing jokes and even problems, it almost feels like I knew them forever! Couple of the girls couldn't make it on that day but the party must go on because I already tricked the birthday girl a.k.a my sister from another mother, Illy into coming to our secret location. She have no idea obviously but the other birthday girl, Pika already knew all about our plan considering the fact that she's basically the one who arranged the venue, lol

Fresh & Tasty @ Daily Fresh...

I can't believe how fast time really flies this year and I guess it's not too late to wish all Muslims out there a very blessed Ramadhan =) I know I choose a rather awkward time to talk about food here but forgive me lovelies, I can't help but sharing my latest food obsession with the rest of you, hee~ Have you heard of Daily Fresh? With 800 outlets all over Malaysia, I'm pretty sure you've seen or came across them before, right? [Tips & Tricks] Froyo Fantasy with Nestle Natural Set Yogurt...

Are you aware of the rise of frozen yogurt @ froyo outlets all over the city? Well, I'm not the one who like to miss anything so yes, I'm a big fan just like the rest of you out there =) Unfortunately, my addiction really burns a huge hole in my pocket and I've been searching high and low for a cheaper and healthier alternative. But what if I can make my own froyo? My problem will be solved and I can eat as much as I can, weeee~ \\^_^//

The most crucial thing in preparing my homemade froyo is of course, the yogurt itself. I'm not getting any younger so I try my best to adopt a healthier lifestyle without compromise all the fun. Nestle Natural Set Yogurt is definitely the answer, it's low in fat (100g serving only contains 57kcal & 1.6g fat), complete with calcium and have no artificial coloring or sugar added. It's also very reasonably price, only RM5.79 for 470g tube, quite a steal isn't it?

Here's what you gonna need for this recipe. Nestle Natural Set Yogurt obviously, sugar, vanilla essence and last but not least are the toppings of your choice. If you're diabetic, you can opt for other sugar substitutes such as Stevia or Sucralose. The condiments can be anything you love; fruits chunks, honey, hazelnut, biscuits and so much more! Since I like to keep it simple; chocolate rice, a little sprinkles and cherries sounds good enough for me =) Let's move on to the recipe, shall we?

STEP 1 :
Pour 2 cups of Nestle Natural Set Yogurt, a cup of sugar and 2 tablespoon of vanilla essence in a bowl and stir it together until it blends well and the sugar dissolve in the mixture.

STEP 2 :
Cover your mixture with an aluminum foil/plastic wrap and freeze it for 60 minutes. This is totally up to you, if you prefer a firmer consistency, you can leave it for a few hours.

STEP 3 :
Scoop out the froyo from the freezer and start decorating with your favorite dressing to compliment it. Now, it's ready to be served ❤_

Easy right? Okay, the texture might be a little different than your regular froyo and what I've in mind but it taste about the same, so I'll consider my froyo experiment a success no less, lol If you feel like give it a try, just let me know how's your froyo turns out, promise? For more recipe and information about Nestle Natural Yogurt Set, do check out the site here. Until then, have a wonderful weekend everyone and take care, adieu~

Love & Pastry @ Wind Chimes in a Bakery...

What will happen when you add some love in a pastry? Well, a hopeless romantic like me would definitely answer Wind Chimes in a Bakery! If you have no idea what it's all about, Wind Chimes in a Bakery is a Korean inspired web series presented by Samsung Galaxy S4, your life companion =)

With Korean renowned director, Jang Jae Hyeok magical touch; the web series is full of Korean unique essence which made the series appeal not only to K-drama fans here in Malaysia but in another regions as well. The 8 episodes series were filmed locally mostly with Samsung Galaxy S4, cool isn't it?

To celebrate the web series success, a group of bloggers were invited by Samsung to get up, close and personal with the Wind Chimes in a Bakery lead characters; Nabil (Adam) & Koe Yeet (Sue) while learn to bake Korean favorite pastry, the Red Bean Buns at 19 Culinary Studio, Jln Dungun.

If you're wondering why the Red Bean Buns, well it's actually the cupid in disguise behind Adam and Sue love story! Besides wind chimes, you'll see a lot of shots in the series focus the buns as well... I never knew a red bean bun can be so romantic n_n

The truth is, I hate cooking but when it comes to baking, it's a totally different story! I love it very2 much =) I believe the Red Bean Bun recipe is quite easy with only 6 steps all together and doesn't require complicated baking techniques at all. Check out the recipe and the method below...

While waiting for our buns to be ready, we were taken to the screening room for Wind Chimes in a Bakery marathon and of course we took the opportunity to grill Adam and Sue with tons of questions and weird request, LOL They're very cute and playful, I really wish I can bring both of them home XD

Oh yes, besides our own Red Bean Buns, we also have the limited edition Wind Chimes in a Bakery apron signed by Adam and Sue to bring back home too! A very cool keepsake initiate by Tammy, hehe =P Maybe I can sell them on Ebay in the future, wink2

Before I'm signing out, don't forget to visit Samsung Malaysia Youtube channel here to watch the web series (make sure you have lots of tissues with you =P) or maybe you can give the recipe a try if you feel like baking something for your special someone ❤_ Until then, Happy Tuesday ladies, adieu~

Hunger Game with Soya Fitz...

Ramadhan to me is more than just a celebration of food. In this fasting month, I learn to be more patient, practice a healthier lifestyle and getting closer to the maker and my loved one. So yes, I try to think less about food and focus on more important stuff instead. Of course to last all day without consuming anything, I need a little something to give me the extra energy. Thanks to Only Beauty, I have Organic Soya Fitz & Go Fibre from A-Line to help me with that =)

Go Fibre basically is a dietary supplement based on USA formulation that used unique ingredients such as Aloe Vera and Green Tea extract, Orange Citronova, Citrus Aurantium (just to name a few) to improve your digestion system condition. I have a very sensitive stomach and eating the wrong kind of foods normally will end up with a bad case of diarrhea. I've been drinking it for couple of days now and thankfully I didn't experienced any stomach upset yet, yeay~ @_@

It's quite easy to prepare too. All you need is a glass of water (hot or cold) and a sachet of Go Fibre. Stir both components together and you'll get yourself a healthy drink in no time ^_^ This is however is not a food replacement, it's pretty much works like an additional booster to help you getting closer to a healthier you. Retail at RM85 per box of 15 sachets, you can take up to 2 sachets daily for optimum results.

Organic Soya Fitz on the other hand is a very good source of protein since it's very quick and easy to consume especially during Sahur time when most of us have little or less appetite. I love how full it make me feel, I only need a sachet of Organic Soya Fitz and dates to keep me from feeling hungry, cool isn't it? It taste good too, pretty much like the regular Soya drinks in the market but with a little hint of Pandan taste underneath, hee~

Curios about the ingredients? Well, there is Organic Soya Bean in the mixture of course besides Orange Peel Extract, White Kidney Bean, Green Tea and so much more. Priced at RM135 per box of 15 sachets, this supplementary drink is great for those on diet too. It indirectly make you eat less due to it's fulfilling elements, sweet~ I like to call myself a nutritional overachiever a.k.a eating whatever I please, but it's never too late to kickstart a healthier routine, right? Till then, Salam Ramadhan ladies & stay healthy, adieu~ ❤_

Breakfast @ Teaffani...

Breakfast at Tiffany's? Wasn't really my cup of tea but "Breakfast at Teaffani" definitely is!!! Although I'm no Holly Golightly, I love everything fancy when it comes to my food, hihi =P Thanks to The Butterfly Project, I was among the lucky bloggers chosen to experience the Teaffani's High Tea food tasting session earlier this month, something that I wouldn't missed for the world, wink2

Located at Fahrenheit88, Teaffani Patisseries who also known as the English High Tea expert, gives you a slightly different atmosphere than cafes you used to see... It's situated literally in the middle of clothing and accessories counters!!! What a cool way to win a shopaholic heart, don't you think? =P While sipping your tea and enjoying your pastries, you can feast your eyes on the various outfits on display, double guilty pleasure for me, heeee~

To make your high tea moment even sweeter, Teaffani serves their customers with the finest English crockery set, fabulous for any occasions =) All the details feel very much like a scene from Downtown Abbey than a cafe to me, haha =D There are tons of premium tea choices to spoil you, from English Breakfast, Peppermint, Chamomile, Earl Grey to Darjeeling, perfect combination with any dessert! I just don't get how a coffee person can live missing the beauty of tea and dessert union? It's like match made in heaven, what's not to love, right? ^_~

Back to Teaffani, we were welcomed that day by the owner herself, the lovely Ms Rachael Ang who brief us a little about the history behind Teaffani; which is the pioneer for mobile high tea service here in Malaysia!!! Catering for numerous big names before, from Rolls Royce, Setia Eco Glade, Reebonz to Robinson (just to name a few), Teaffani is clearly in a class of her own ^_^

Unlike normal high tea promos at hotels and cafes, Teafanni High Tea Set is available throughout the day, yeay!!! @_@ Comes with complimentary tea of your choices and 8 different savoury and sweet delicacies to satisfy your hunger, this 2 pax set is more than enough to accommodate 3 people if you ask me... With only RM49.90, you get 2 types of sandwiches, Tiramisu, raisin scones, carrot cakes, chocolate brownies, orange pudings, chicken quiches and macaroons! You really should come with empty stomach if you want to finish everything, LOL

I'm not a food connoisseur nor an expert, so I think I'll leave the big words for those who really know what they're talking about... I'll highlight on my personal favorite instead, based on my taste buds and preference =) Honestly, I don't drink coffee so Tiramisu wasn't really my kind of dessert, but I'm drawn to it because of the cute little jar that comes with the Tiramisu... The coffee taste is not as strong as I think it'll be, which is always a plus to me! The texture on the other hand is soft and smooth enough for my liking, coolness~ Vn_nV

Next on my list are their chocolate macaroon and chicken quiche. Placed highly on the top tier, these sweet and savory couples definitely are the main highlight of the high tea =) The chicken quiche were cutely served in a tart crust, very chic and delicious finger food that's perfect for kids to adult! The macaroon is another surprise for me, it tasted very much like a fusion of chocolate and orange, not too sweet nor too bland, just the way it's supposed to be, I'm in love ❤_❤

Did I mention about their raisin scones yet? It's a nice twist from the plain one that I normally bought =) I like raisins in pastries, it brings out more flavour without additional sweetener, healthier alternative for me obviously, LOL You can always have it with butter and jam like the English do, wink2 Beside their signature High Tea Set, Teaffani also offers wide array of selection from sandwiches, cakes, finger foods, desserts, cookies and scones freshly bake for their customers at their cafe as well. Pair your pick with their premium tea, you'll feel like living in an European country, hehe =P

Of course an event wouldn't be complete without any group photos, right? Since the girls came clad in a school uniform ala Gossip Girls, everyone was more than excited to showcase their outfit and pose for the camera =) I like the tartan inspired prints they're wearing, very adorable =) My interpretation of the theme however clearly differ from what other girls have in mind so I choose to minimize my camwhore instinct that day, LOL I can't resist taking picture with Ms Rachel though, she's so pretty ❤

The best thing of all, each and everyone of us get to bring back home the delicious Chocolate Rocher biscuits from Teaffani & Lullabelle's bestseller items; Sweet Orange Nail Ointment and Purple Magical Ointment, weeeeeeeeeeee~ For those of you who's unfamiliar with Lullabelle, they're selling variety of natural hand made products from soaps, lipbalms, body scrubs, ointments, herbal balms to facial mists, pretty much every things a girl need in their survival kit, wink2

For more information about Teaffani, please do visit their FB page here & like Lullabelle's FB page here for more awesome potions and beauty updates ^_^ Don't forget to spread the love to the lovely butterflies at The Butterfly Project FB page at this link to be a part of the awesome beauty community ❤ Till then, enjoy the long weekend girls, muahssss~
