Ammaar's First Day Of Work @ KidZania, KL

Hello lovelies, I guess it's not too late to wish all of you a very Happy New Year! How is your 2020 so far? Mine is pretty calm surprisingly but hey, it's too early to say, who knows what the future might hold! A little recap for those of you who might be wondering, my baby boy Ammaar is not so little anymore, he will be turning 5 this May and already in preschool this year. He's such a great kid, I'm beyond grateful, Alhamdulillah. Always so gentle and kind, funny and independent too. Can't believe how fast he is growing up, I can barely keep up!

Ammaar Zahran Is Officially 3!

Technically, Ammaar Zahran is already 3 last May but as usual, I like to take my time writing about the object of my affection. If you knew me well, you probably noticed how reserved I can be when it comes to everyone I loved and hold dear. Surface stuff like OOTD and beauty review, I don't really mind sharing that for the whole world to see but intimate moment with my loved one, I like to keep it private and confidential. I do however make an exception for my son's birthday every year as a tradition that I intend to keep for as long as I lived =P

Fashion Meets Function With Skip Hop Chelsea Diaper Backpack

I've been searching for the perfect diaper bag for as long as I could remember. There are a lot of things that need to be considered before purchasing one like the functionality, the design and of course the price. Me and my husband, we didn't really see eye to eye in this particular matter. He prefer manly designs and hate all the previous diaper bags that I bought. He even claimed that it emasculate his masculinity! Well technically, its not my fault that cutesy bags make him looks less macho-ish. After all, diaper bags should be as sweet as your precious one, right?

Ammaar Zahran Turns 2!

Somebody turns 2 recently and believe it or not, I still can't get the hang of it! He may be bigger physically but in my heart he'll always be my baby. He seems to adore his daddy a lot more lately... Always following him around, copying his every move and sometimes even gang up together against me, pfttttt~ Despite all that, I know he love me too in his own weird way. Besides, I can't really find any reasons why someone would enjoy squeezing my nose and cheeks if it's not out of love, right? Or maybe he just like to see me blushing, lol

Unleash Your Child's Passion & Potential With My Champion Mobile App

When I was a little girl, I remembered being so fascinated over crime and investigation books and will spend most of my free time reading it religiously from cover to cover. Back then, there's no CSI or Criminal Minds on the television yet so I have neither knowledge about the job nor the right exposure to this line of works. Thanks to Champs; Malaysia's well known brand in child healthcare, today your children will have the opportunity to discover their inner calling and true potential with the fun and interactive My Champion mobile app.

Bloom & Grow + Mothercare Mother's Day Celebration @ Bangsar Shopping Centre

In conjunction with Mother's Day celebration this year, Bloom & Grow; a distributor of top infant, toddler and maternity brands across the Asia Pacific and Mothercare Malaysia hosted a special moms get-together along with their little ones. I was invited with my son to the fun-filled event which took place at Mothercare, Bangsar Shopping Centre recently and we really glad we did! It was a lovely celebration indeed where mothers and kids get to work together and bonded over an afternoon of fun and joy. Of course there's always drama involved when it comes to my cheeky boy, Ammaar Zahran. I'll get back to that later but I guess the pictures below can tell them all, lol

Surviving Motherhood : Mr. Drama King

I've talk about how devastating it is to see my little boy struggling with pain in my previous Surviving Motherhood entry here. However, don't let that discourage you because motherhood also comes with a lot of perks! One of the most fascinating one is when you see your child learning new tricks everyday. You'll be amused when you noticed how much they imitates or mimics people around them and guess what? I think I've raised a Mr. Drama King!

Surviving Motherhood : Unbreak My Heart

It's true, nothing breaks a mother's heart more than seeing her child in pain. I thought I'm one tough cookie but when I saw my son putting up a brave face while the doctor insert the needle on his hand, I cried like a baby... In fact I'm still crying whenever I'm thinking of that moment, how my little baby try to comfort his weepy mommy with his reassuring gaze, that's without a doubt a super heroic move in my book T_T

Surviving Motherhood : Love Your Curve

I never really talk about it before but just like the rest of you out there, I went through some serious body issues throughout my motherhood journey... Pregnancy, childbirth, all that changes your body so whether you like it or not, you have to either live with it or do something about it.

Surviving Motherhood : Baby Shopping

Looking at our current economic situation, I can't help but thinking thoroughly before making any purchases. Just like any other parents, I still want to give the very best for my son even if it means I have to cut down on some of my expenses. But no, I won't spoil him with designer items regardless of how much I love him... Unfortunately, good quality products doesn't always come cheap so I have to find ways to get it for a reasonable price instead. I'm very lucky that my son is not a picky eater and wasn't allergic to any foods so far. He do have sensitive skin that's prone to insects bites and rashes though which makes me a little bit particular in terms of choosing his body products.

Shop All Things Baby @ Motherhood.com.my

Do you enjoy online shopping as much as I do? Who doesn't right? I don't have to worry about getting ready, parking, wasting hours in traffic and of course the giddiness I feel whenever I received my purchase, it's what makes me even more addicted to online shopping! I admit I do go overboard sometimes but to justify all that, I'm now buying for my son too so basically I'm not as guilty as charged, lol Over the time, I've learn few tips and tricks especially when it comes to shop for my little one essential stuff which I'll explain more in my upcoming blog post and one of them is definitely my favorite online baby store; Motherhood.com.my

Happy 1st Birthday, Ammaar Zahran!

Whenever I'm feeling blue, I'll take a look at your pictures and I'll be whole again~ Yes my darling Ammaar, that's exactly how I feels about you, honey! You've bring so much joy into our life and honestly, I can't even remember how I've been living all this while without your presence. Okay, a little big dramatic there but hey, I'm all about drama these days especially when you have a toddler who seems to think that he owns you =D

Calm and Comfort Your Little One with Minyak Bebe Anugerah

Don't get me wrong, I love my son with all my heart but honestly, he's not an easy room mate to live with during his early days... He cry all the time even after I feed him, bath him, change his diapers or even when I try to sooth him to sleep! I was a living zombie back then, a new mom who lack experience and knowledge and struggling to adapt and adjusting to my new life. I remember our frequent visits to the doctor and the answer that we got almost all the time is of course, "there's nothing wrong with your child, just a typical colic episodes"

Surviving Motherhood : The Guilt Trip

One of the most challenging thing that I never thought I'll have to deal with when it comes to motherhood is actually the guilt trip... It's not easy to juggle between your work, family, friends, your passion and your study, sometimes I'll start questioning whether I'm a good mother for still wanting to do all these even when I know I have a little one who clearly needs my undivided attention. I feel guilty when I have to leave my son to work everyday, I feel guilty when I spend my time with my friends every now and then, I feel guilty when I have to attend my classes on weekend, in fact I even feel guilty when I'm buying something for myself instead of him!

Take Charge of Your Fertility with Fertility Associate

Who says we can have it all? A successful career, a happy family; everything is possible in this century we live in but how can we explain the fertility issues that 1 of 6 couples in Malaysia have been struggling with? That exactly why it is extremely important to understand what's going on inside your body and do something about it before it's too late. There's no better way to say it but yes, your career can definitely wait unfortunately your fertility can't! The trend where women choose to get married later in life in order to pursue their career and the lack of awareness about fertility are proven to be among the major contributors to this dilemma.

Create Better Future with Paddle Pop Young Builders Award

For 4 consecutive years since 2013, Wall's Malaysia successfully did their part in raising the awareness among children to go green and love the nature through their Paddle Pop Young Builders Award which is fully supported by Ministry of Education. This national program was designed to encourage kids to create their 3D artwork from recyclable items such as the Paddle Pop ice-cream sticks. The competition is open to all primary schools in Malaysia (standard 4, 5 or 6 students). To participate, the schools only need to send in their design sketches according to the theme given and the shortlisted school team will be building the 3D replica using recyclable stuff based on the sketches they submit earlier at the final this June.

Assalamualaikum, Ammaar Zahran

All my life I always dreams of having a little family of mine with miniatures version of myself, clad in matching outfit + attitude and ready to rock the world and Alhamdulillah, my prayers were answered on 22nd of May 2015 with the arrival of the love of my life; Ammaar Zahran ❤_❤ I never knew I'm capable of loving someone so very much and looking at him, sleeping soundly next to me every night making me feel deeply humbled and blessed to be given such joy, thank you Allah for this beautiful gift =)
