Hello again May, you know you'll always be my favorite month. It's so much more special this year, we welcome Ramadhan this time around and of course, Tun M is making a spectacular comeback for Malaysian as well! Political aside, it's also my son and I birthday month and mother's day too so we're a little busy preparing for everything. Thank god the long weekend came just in the right time, I finally have more time to spend with family and close friends. I just wish it will never end, we could use more days like this, right?

Style Diary : Monochrome Chic
I heard it all the time, you can never go wrong with the combination of black and white so I always try to be a little adventurous when I'm wearing these two colors. I have way too many black in my closet, I kind of like the mysterious feels it gave whenever I had it on me. Since I wear black most of the time, I guess why not adding a little twist by dominating the entire look with white and a little splash of black this time around instead. I had other looks in mind but when I lay my eyes on this Aere stripes palazzo pants, I just knew that this is it right away!
Style Diary : English Rose
Can't believe that it's already 2018 and this is actually my first post this year! I know I've been missing from the radar for quite sometime but no, I'm not pregnant lovelies, just a little bit preoccupied with different kind of things that I'm exploring at the moment. Don't worry, I will reveals more when I'm good and ready. Right now, it's back to my usual Style Diary. God knows how much I missed dressing up and looks pretty and my top picks never stray away from pastel pink and floral prints which I personally think fits the English Rose vibes that I'm aiming for.
Style Diary : Blooming Romance
I guess my fondness for floral prints is not really a secret anymore. On scarfs, blouses, dresses, I just love them all! It brings out the romantic and feminine side of me without trying too hard and looks effortlessly graceful and elegant from day to night. That's not all obviously, floral prints have the ability to disguise bulges efficiently especially after I'm having a hearty meal besides require minimal ironing. Isn't that the music to every women ears? Of course I still have to iron it if the material is cotton or silk (not that I think anyone will care anyway =P)
Style Diary : Specks Of Gold
Eversince I became a mother, I always go for practicality over fashion. All black attire which is great at camouflaging stain is definitely my top pick, followed closely by printed dress just because I can get away wearing it without ironing, hee~ The same goes for the scarf too, I would choose either dark shades or printed one in case my son spilled something on me... It happened numerous times before so I guess better safe than sorry, right? Of course it will be so much cooler if I can have the best of both world combined exactly like what I'm wearing here =)
Style Diary : Floral Fixation
I believe most of you're still in the festive mood, right? Well, so am I! And since I don't have any raya food to indulge myself with, I guess an outfit post of what I wear during the first day of Eid will do. Last year, we picked purple as our little family color theme and this year, we choose purple again but a slightly deeper shade because Ammaar's grandma already bought him a cute baju melayu from Omar Ali in dark purple that fits him perfectly. Since my husband and I love purple, we're more than happy to go along with it so dark purple it is!
Style Diary : Lady In Pink
Alhamdulillah, I'm officially 33 and there's nothing I love more than playing dress up on my special day! Of course there are tons of things I'm wishing for (like every makeup collection I can think of) but I'm very grateful with everything that I have today. Everyone I love and care about are healthy and happy, that's definitely what truly matters to me. Since my birthday this year falls on the same day as the Mother's Day, I choose to wear something that represents both mothers and women. Looks like the combination of flowers and pink fits the bill perfectly.
Style Diary : Snow White
For someone who is neither fair nor lovely, dressing up in all white is a pretty huge risk. I could end up accentuating my flaws and honestly, the odds is really not in my favor at the moment. I do however can't help but loving the idea of being clad in white again. The last time I did was during my wedding day and god, I felt nothing but beautiful on that day! Since it will be weird to name the whole look 'White Bride', I decided to go for 'Snow White' instead, a rather unconventional and modern interpretation of the damsel in distress.
Style Diary : Spring Fling
I know we don't have spring here in Malaysia but it's always and forever will be my favorite season probably due to the feminine and floral fashion collection that's surrounding it. Don't get me wrong, I love flowers, the idea of it however is more fascinating to me because I'm realist, flowers doesn't last long enough and way too expensive, lol Floral prints on the other hand is timeless and effortless, it's subtle and dainty, pretty much like me =P
Style Diary : Down To Earth
There's nothing make me feel more in sync with the nature than wearing an earthy shades all over. Ironically, this is what I chose to wear for our indoor outing to Ikea last weekend. If you knew me well, you probably figured out how much hate I have for crowded places so we came early to avoid the massive crowd and got the aisle completely to ourselves for a quickie OOTD session before finishing up with a little home shopping.
Style Diary : 50 Shades Of Grey
Grey, a shade always perceived as something that's border the line between right or wrong is slowly become a favourite of mine due to the minimalist effect and classic feels it brings. The understated beauty of grey never cease to amaze me, it's effortlessly stunning even in 50 different shades of grey (if you get what I mean, winks)
Style Diary : Out Of The Blue
I'm too blue to function should be the name of this look cause I'm still feeling gloomy whenever monday comes. Whether I like it or not, I have to drag myself back to work or I can't afford to shop any cute outfits for me or my son, sobsss Y_Y I'm not going to bore you out with my moaning and whining here, just a brief ootd post, I swear =)
Style Diary : Rock & Roll
Music and me, we go way back... In fact I've been introduced to my husband because of our mutual love and understanding for music so I guess it feels kind of right to dedicate my first installment of Style Diary to a genre that I'm always fascinate about, Rock & Roll.
