[Giveaway] Run For A Good Cause @ Shokubutsu Be My Reason Shower Run

Every October we will be reminded of the most common invasive cancer in females worldwide through breast cancer awareness campaign but do we really take it seriously and pay any attention to it? What do you do if your loved one or anyone you know is battling breast cancer or what would you have done for yourself to increase your chance of survival? To tell you the truth, I don't really know much about the breast cancer myself and from Shokubutsu and National Cancer Society of Malaysia (NCSM) roadshow last year proven that I'm not the only one who going through this issue. Lots of women out there don't know the right method to conduct breast self check themselves and many others not even committed to even doing one!

Such unsettling circumstances have driven Shokubutsu, the leading shower foam brand in Malaysia to continue with its Pink Ribbon campaign with the same passion of encouraging women to make a difference for themselves and their loved one conducting breast self checks during shower regularly. Once again, fully supported by National Cancer Society of Malaysia (NCSM), this year campaign aim to be louder and boulder and to extend the message of breast self check during the shower further, Shokubutsu is organizing Be My Reason Shower Run, the first ever run event with a shower theme in Malaysia. 

Schedule to be held in October in conjunction of breast cancer awareness month, this one of a kind event will be promoting the awareness and spreading the message of support and togetherness for other people. Hence the Be My Reason Shower Run participants are encourage to run with their partners who symbolize their reason for committing to breast self check. Renowned Malaysian actor, Beto Kusyairi will be joining the fun as well. He will be running with his wife, Tisha Shahar as a firm show of his support for her who had a scare when a lump was detected in her breast not too long ago. Together, they are helping to raise awareness among Malaysians on breast cancer early detection by conducting regular breast self check during shower.  

If you want to learn more about the disease that afflict one in every 19 women, come and run to support the cause at Be My Reason Shower Run this 9th October 2016. Shokubutsu Pink Ribbon partner, National Cancer Society of Malaysia (NCSM) will be setting up a booth on that day too for those who want to learn more about breast cancer better and to conduct a simple breast self check during shower in a correct way. Breast cancer survivor will also participate in this event and the participants will get the chance to hear their experience on how they won their fight against breast cancer with the help and support from their loved one.

Above here is all the information about the Shokubutsu Be My Reason Shower Run that'll be happening next month. All participants who join the run will be entitled to receive a medal, certificate and goodies including a discount voucher of Mammogram / Breast Ultrasound / Prostate Ultrasound from BP Healthcare Group. Every RM10 from the participation fee to Be My Reason Shower Run and RM0.10 from every unit of Shokubutsu liquid shower products purchase from participating stores will be donated to National Cancer Society of Malaysia (NCSM) as a symbol of support of this organization and awareness. The Pink Ribbon campaign by Shokubutsu runs from 1st October 2016 - 30th October 2016.
