Shower Power with Soap & Glory, Lush and Anna Sui...

Unlike some other people who choose to eat, shop or scream whenever they're feeling out of sorts or unhappy, I very much prefer to calm myself down with a cold shower instead. Besides helping me clears up my head, I walk out out of the bathroom feeling refresh, clean and smells very good too!!! Please don't be offended if I asked you to take a bath ya, I truly believe it can lift up your mood and make you feel so much better, wink2

Among all the shower gels that I own, I have 3 in particular that I always run to whenever the mood swing hits me. Sometimes, I even used it for special occasion like hot date or weekend getaway! Shower gel might not give me the strong, long lasting powerful scent like perfume do but I think it did a pretty good job at keeping me smelling good all day. Lush - Snow Fairy

The first one is Lush - Snow Fairy that I bought couple of years ago. Since it's only available during Christmas season, I try not to use it as much as I want to, sigh~ What really makes me feel so in love with this shower gel is because it comes in a pretty glittery pink color that smells a lot like candy and bubblegum ^_^ Not really a valid reason I know, but I guess the scent really reminds me of sugar, spice and everything nice x) It lathers up quite well too, definitely a purchase I never regret!

Next is Soap & Glory - Clean on Me that I received from Tammy for my birthday last year (thanks darl =D) It comes with built in lotion bonus and derived from natural mandarin peel extract which gives me the super soft feeling that my skin desperately need. The texture on the other hand is very creamy, foaming beautifully and leaves behind the well known Soap & Glory signature scent that I adore... It's quite economical too, one bottle can last you forever even when you use it on daily basis @_@

The last one is another gift from Tammy as well; Anna Sui - Rock Me! (Summer of Love) shower gel. I love the subtle floral scent that lingering to my body long after my shower despite the fact that it doesn't lather up as much as I want to. It's quite drying actually but I ignore it due to the summer sunshine memories that it brings, lol Are you a fan of fancy shower gels too? [Tips & Tricks] Sleeping Beauty...

I'm pretty sure most of us experienced sleepless nights before, right? I used to have the problem during my college years, it's really exhausting to brace the day without enough sleep, sigh~ A good 7 hours sleep as suggested by doctors is not that easy to achieve if you're not willing to change your lifestyle but afraid not, I've got a few tips up my sleeve for all of you girls ^_^

• Avoid drinking coffee during night time - I know some of you are hardcore coffee addict, you can try switching your daily coffee intake from all the time to only day time instead, you have nothing to lose and lots of sleep to gain ^_~

• Working out at night - this might not bode well with some of you but trust me, it surprisingly work!!! When we're working out, yes we feel the adrenaline rush and everything but our body will be sore and tired; the next thing we know, all we ever want is to lie down and sleep =)

• A long bath - it's not very good in the long run (having bath at night I mean) but it can ease your tension and relax your body especially if you're using bath products that come with aromatheraphy essence, my choice is definitely Lush Twilight Shower Gel, even using it can lulled me into deep sleep, hehe =P

• Say NO to supper - I rarely eat late at night and always opted for early dinner instead... My reason have nothing to do with health actually, I'm so used to eat early from high school years (I was a boarding school student) and it naturally become a practice to me n_n

• Listen to ASMR videos - I'm saving the best for last, ASMR or Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response is the tingling sensation that we get in response to audio, visual or cognitive stimuli... I discovered it during sleepless night 3 years ago on youtube and still very much a big fan till this day!!! A Lush Crush with Lush...

My love affair with LUSH began when Hanna gave me my first LUSH soap, Rockstar two years ago and it's definitely lust love at first bath!!! I can't thank you enough Hanna for introducing me to LUSH, muahsss ★_★ After our first encounter, I'm smitten and never look back ever since, what's not to love about LUSH? Everything, from their fancy name, divine scents, cute and fun products make me swoon in a heartbeat, hehe =P With LUSH, you didn't just get your typical bath products, you get one of a kind bath experience, fit for a special occasion and "me time", how sweet is that? n_n

Since you can't get LUSH here in Malaysia, the only alternative to get your hands on it is either from buying online or visit their stores at other countries... The closest one to us of course is their Singapore's store but the pricing there is so freaking expensive when I compared to other places~ =_=  If I didn't practice any restrain, I could easily spend all my money for their stuff in a blink, which won't bode well with my mum of course, T-T

Does "wonderful" struck to your mind when you see those videos? I'm truly mesmerize by their simple yet creative ways of mixing and matching the natural ingredients in order to get the beautiful end results =) Everything is hand-made and feels quite personal to me, a very2 cool way of making your bath experience more intimate, don't you think? I had captured couple of pics from my recent Lush pampering session during my short get-away, you can see for yourself how gorgeous my bath turn out to be, I only added half of Think Pink to my warm water, it smells divine and feels so soft against my skin, I'm in ♥

This re-formulation is a great replacement for the bestseller fans, with the very same Lavender calming scents and a little silver sparkles to go with the purple liquid work fantastically to re-energize your every shower just like the bath bomb itself =) Snow Fairy is still my fav of course, I love smell like candy, hihi =P I'll review my Comforter & French Kiss bubble bar in my upcoming post girls, till then "Happy New Year" to all of you!!! ♥♥♥

I think the money I spend on cosmetic had escalated dangerously during every Christmas season, which always made me felt bad for a little while, but like an addictive drug, I can't help but falling into the loop over and over again... I might regret some of it later but right now, these are my babies, my happy pills and my guilty pleasure @_@

You know how it feels when you're a kid and walk into a candy shop? It's exactly the same with me, I get the similar excitement everytime I step my foot in my favorite cosmetic store, it's a very2 fantastic feeling to try every single stuff that I fancy and use it to my heart content... Anyway, I've stray away from the thing I wanna blog about which is my 2011 Christmas haul, behold the beauty peeps, wink2

 

Estee Lauder Blockbuster Set - RM250 

My verdict : IT'S A SPLURGE!!!

Okay, I must be honest, I'm not impress at all with any Estee Lauder Christmas Set this year, I think it's the same thing all over again but with different packaging and slightly different color selection. 

The quality for this set is so-so only especially the eyeshadow set, the blushers are awesome though... Since my mum adore this so much, me and my sis decided to bought this set for her birthday few weeks ago and I'm very happy to say that she still very much in love with it to date n_n

Sephora Makeup Studio Blockbuster - RM179 

My verdict : IT'S A STEAL!!!

This is a pretty good investment in my part I think, the shades are very2 nice and with 96 eyeshadows, I got plenty to play with, yeay!!! I just don't get it why there are so many lip glosses in this set, who'll actually wear some of the colors in the real world? =_= 

This definitely a great tool for makeup artist, lots of colors to experiment with and it comes with eyeliners and mascara too, the shades are quite intense and pigmented, with the price, it's certainly a bargain I can't refuse, hehe =P

Benefit Cosmetic Website Haul - USD125 (approximately RM400)

My verdict : IT'S A STEAL!!!

As much as I love Benefit Cosmetic, I think it's outrageously priced here in Malaysia, and they didn't valued their regular customer such as myself that much, so I had to resort to another sources, which more reasonably price and gave me freebies without even asking...

Thank god for Benefit Cosmetic Website that provides lots of great deal from time to time for their customer =) My total purchase which will cost me twice the amount here, entitle me to free shipping and free Benefit Thrrob face powder, definitely a very huge steal in my book!!! I'll never turn back to retail shopping again, this I can definitely promise you ^_^

Lush Christmas Candy Box Set - $67.50 (approximately RM170)

I have a mixed feeling about it, especially since I knew that Lush Singapore were giving 35% discount for all their Christmas Gift set on the boxing day =( Anyway, I have Hanna to thank for this gift set, she bought it for me during her Singapore trip last week, thanks babe @_@

Lush goodies are so delicious and to die for, it may be a bit expensive compare to any other bath products but it's definitely a nice treat for yourself and a great way to lift up your mood after having a bad day n_n There are 6 products in this set; 2 soaps, 1 shower gel, 1 lip tint, 1 bubble bar & 1 bath ballistic... and every single of them smells so divine, and it make me wishing for a bathtub more than ever now, T-T

This is without a doubt is definitely a splurge, which I won't buy unless I'm very2 in lust with it, hihi =P Fortunately enough for me, this is a gift from my dear "Santa", who really2 know how to make me a very2 happy kid, wink2 I love the selection of shades for this particular palette, purple + pink + gold, it's refreshing and the packaging too, it's stunning and breathtaking, this collection definitely mesmerize me the most among other Christmas collection this year!!!

That's why I save the best for last, wink2 The brush set is so awesome and work wonderfully with the eyeshadows, I'm in love~ @_@ If I don't count the brush case, I guess this set is perfect for me and it's a very2 worthy buy if you're looking for a great stuff with a good quality =)
