Shower Power with Soap & Glory, Lush and Anna Sui...

Unlike some other people who choose to eat, shop or scream whenever they're feeling out of sorts or unhappy, I very much prefer to calm myself down with a cold shower instead. Besides helping me clears up my head, I walk out out of the bathroom feeling refresh, clean and smells very good too!!! Please don't be offended if I asked you to take a bath ya, I truly believe it can lift up your mood and make you feel so much better, wink2

Among all the shower gels that I own, I have 3 in particular that I always run to whenever the mood swing hits me. Sometimes, I even used it for special occasion like hot date or weekend getaway! Shower gel might not give me the strong, long lasting powerful scent like perfume do but I think it did a pretty good job at keeping me smelling good all day. The first one is Lush - Snow Fairy that I bought couple of years ago. Since it's only available during Christmas season, I try not to use it as much as I want to, sigh~ What really makes me feel so in love with this shower gel is because it comes in a pretty glittery pink color that smells a lot like candy and bubblegum ^_^ Not really a valid reason I know, but I guess the scent really reminds me of sugar, spice and everything nice x) It lathers up quite well too, definitely a purchase I never regret!

Next is Soap & Glory - Clean on Me that I received from Tammy for my birthday last year (thanks darl =D) It comes with built in lotion bonus and derived from natural mandarin peel extract which gives me the super soft feeling that my skin desperately need. The texture on the other hand is very creamy, foaming beautifully and leaves behind the well known Soap & Glory signature scent that I adore... It's quite economical too, one bottle can last you forever even when you use it on daily basis @_@

Young & Dangerous...

I'm 28 years old, considered quite old to some people standard to even feel excited about birthday gifts, still I can't help the inner child in me that always looking forward for my birthday year after year, wink2  I love giving and made other people day but sometimes I wanna be on the other side too, and thank god I have great support system around me that appreciate me and love me the way I am ^_~

My birthday was like 3 months ago, but of course all these babies need their moment to shine in yours truly blog too, right? The first birthday gift that I received this year was from my special someone; who gave me a limited edition memorabilia of my fav band, The Beatles!!! I ❤ it so very much honey, muackkksss ^_^ 

My second gift was from my dear sis (all 4 of them) who pinch in to get me my fav hair products- Redken, Jimmy Choo's perfume & also a cute colour block top!!! Thank you sistah, you girls are super awesome, I'm lovin the surprise so freakin' much!!! ★_★

The third gift was from my bff, Deya... It's the latest body scrub from Soap & Glory, Pulp Friction & the Ralph Lauren Pony Range - No 1 fragrance, both smells so lovely on my skin & made dressing up for hot date more fun than ever, thanks babe!!! @_@

The next gifts were from my blogger friends; Harim, Cuna and Hanna... I knew these girls for more than 3 years through blogging and they're very2 nice and wonderful people that I wish I met earlier in my life!!! 2 of them were married now and we didn't meet that often anymore but we still keep in touch and update each other with all the cool info through other mediums... Thanks girls for all the great time we had, I just can't wait for more adventure to come, wink2

The next gift coming from one of my fav hijabista, Shazwani Hamid... She's one of the blogger that I knew through our mutual love for girly stuff and knowing her in real life really change my perspective of her; she's genuine & kind, funny too actually and remind me a lot of my long lost good friend, Aishah that I just found back through Facebook couple of weeks ago!!! It's been a pleasure to get to know you, Wani @_@ For my birthday, she gave me a mustard tunic that fit me perfectly & L'occitane Cherry Blossom bath set that I really2 adore!!! Thanks dear for the fabulous gift ^_^

 

There is another gift from my parents that I can't reveal since I haven't got the time to redeem it yet... Before I end this post, I just wanna share with you girls what I bought for myself for my birthday this year, it may not be as adrenaline pumping as my last year birthday gift for myself here, but it still make me smile and happy like a kid till this day, hehe =P Check out my makeup brushes collection from Sigma & Real Technique which cost me almost RM500... I guess I'm still very young and dangerous at heart, wink2

Fighting the Big C with Soap & Glory Sit Tight...

If you think petite women doesn't have to deal with cellulite, well think again... According to Dr Oz (from Oprah show fame), a very high percentage of female population - it's 90% in fact, suffered from cellulite all over the world... And after thorough and close inspection from my sister and myself, I believe I'm unfortunately not among the lucky 10%, T-T There goes my wish to become Victoria Secret's angel~ (kidding, haha =D)

Since I discovered the existence of my "C" thingy, I had an irresistible urge to try out every single scrub I could think of at the "affected area" with every intent to remove it from my sight and mind... and IT DIDN'T WORK!!! I wonder why I'm not surprise anymore, sigh~ and suddenly during my weekly visit to Sephora (yes, I dropby Sephora at least once a week, hee ^^) the brand new Soap & Glory's cellulite cream - SIT TIGHT caught my eyes attention...

Soap & Glory did come up with another firming cream before known as "Slimwear", but it didn't intrigued me as much as "Sit Tight" did... My sister prefer "Slimwear" actually because the nature of her job, "Sit Tight" as it's name suggest, work best when you sit!!! It's it genius??? @_@ So, it suit those who work in the office like yours truly perfectly ^_~ Since my sister work involves a lot walking, she didn't like it as much as I do...

If you guys are wondering how does it work, well this cream is equip with not one but 3 major components; Pressocapsular-Firm-System™, Detoxyboost™ and Puffdrain 82™ that comes with double action formula which firm and tone skin while you sit. You just need to knead a generous amount of "Sit Tight" onto the affected area and then allow the cream to absorb for about 60 seconds before putting on your clothes. You'll feel a kind of nice heating sensation and sit as much as you can to activate the cream, walla~ ^^

Sweet 27...

I'm having a hard time to believe that I'm turning 27 this year, not because I'm afraid of getting older, but this year time flies so very fast, I can't keep up most of the time, and I barely had time to blog nowadays =( My birthday had passed almost 4 months ago, and I only managed to blog about it now, I hope I won't kill the suspense though, hehehe =P

I received lots of pressies this year, which surprised me a lot cause I didn't see most of it coming and I did indulge myself with something extra-special too for my 27th birthday, which you guys can read it in my upcoming post, wink2

Back to the pressies, my mom and sisters gave me quite a wonderful treat consist of Benefit Crescent Row Laugh with me LeeLee fragrance (which smells so divine) + It's Potent eyes cream (it's my wonder baby) + Ultra Shine lipgloss and a very cute makeup bag with a couple of Benefit miniatures @_@ This definitely made me squeal with delight and make a great addition to my current Benefit stash, thank you all, muahsss ^_^

My dad on the other hand gave me something that I really2 need, a pink 8GB Sony Walkman to replace my Samsung Mp3 that turn haywire early this year, thanks a lot daddy for the sweet thought, now I can store up all my fav songs again,weeeeeeeeeeee~ \\n_n// I still mourning my almost 1,000 songs collection that gone with my late Mp3 though T-T
