A Touch of Royal Beauty with Tunku Tun Aminah x Jovian Exclusive Collection

The closest things I ever get to a royalty is sadly my Royal Danish cookies T_T I do sometimes wonder how it'll feels like to be in their shoes or maybe their huge closet one day... And when I heard about the exclusive collaboration between Johor's very own enchanting princess, Her Highness Tunku Tun Aminah Sultan Ibrahim and Jovian Mandagie, I'm basically die of curiosity! I want to know everything since she's one of the royal fashion icon that I looked up to and honestly, I think I might have a girl crush for her that even my husband can't understand, lol If you're reading this Her Highness, don't worry I'm straight as an arrow =)

Wishful Thinking...

Christmas definitely came early this year, very2 early in fact, I had seen a major cosmetic label launching their Christmas set as early as October to grab all the market share before other brands counter attack, very2 smart marketing indeed...

Christmas definitely the time all makeup lovers eagerly wait every single year n_n The wide arrays of gorgeous colors and designs definitely made us glee with excitement... And the arrival of Sephora in Malaysia early this year didn't help much either... I feel like the hole in my pocket is getting bigger and bigger, hehe =P

I did bought a few stuff already, which I'll reveal soon, wink2 I had no idea how much I spend until I re-calculated the total amount just now, faint~ =_= There are definitely lots of makeup palette that caught my attention this season, knowing my weakness for beautiful eye colors, I don't know how I can mustered all my willpower to resist the gorgeous eye candies... Let's take a sneak peak on my wish list, shall we?=)

1) Bobbi Brown Cool Party Eye palette (RM179)

It's the perfect combination for my favorite smoky eye looks, I do have similar palette actually, Benefit Smokin' Eyes which doing a pretty good job so far, but the compact and more purse friendly size palette from Bobbi Brown certainly has it's own appeal, but the price it's not that friendly obviously, sigh~

2) Too Faced In Your Dreams palette (RM135)

This is one heck of a gorgeous palette I must say, it came in a very unique fairytale books design, with 3 different looks that we can choose from, complete with blusher and lip gloss, it's pretty and the colors are quite pigmented, very2 worthy buy except for the size of course, it might be slim, but too big to fit in your handbag but perfect as a gift, I'm thinking hard now, mmmm~(",)

 

3) Laura Mercier Luxe Eyes & Color Portfolio palette (RM375)

Okay, this duo are pretty expensive for me, and I haven't check it out at their cosmetic counter yet, so I didn't know how to judge the quality... But the Color Portfolio (right) intrigued me more, since it came with blushes and liners... The brushes provided is a nice touch by the way... If they sell it a lot cheaper, I wouldn't want to miss this collection for sure, but the choice of colors here are pretty dull to me, it may works well with every skin color but doesn't make me excited to experiment with it, should I say goodbye then??? =_=

4) Hello Kitty Noir Collection (RM159)

I purposely tried this palette out of curiosity since the reviews online wasn't really speaking high of it and I'm surprised actually that it's not that bad... It's a must have for Hello Kitty die hard but price wise, I will go for Sephora Blockbuster palette anyday since it came with more colors to play with and more professional look case... Yes, the 25 eyeshadows and 10 glosses is not enough for me, wink2 The brushes provided here is so-so quality only, unless you're a fan, you might want to reconsider this one, =(

5) Kat Von D - Tattoo Chronicles Candelabra palette (RM159)

I tried this palette the other day at Sephora, my oh my, I'm very2 impressed, the 16 shades are very nice and pigmented... I believe as a tattoo artist, Kat knew what she's doing more than anyone, and the palette design and colors definitely tell it all... I can't help but loving it, and the coolest thing, it came with a mascara, an extra eyeliner will be nice too, hehe =P What do you guys think? ^^

If Only...

With the new year approaching, I can't help but looking back at all the things happened this year... My 2009 resolution included of course... What I have achieved so far and what did I missed, the ups and the downs, the highs and the lows...

It's quite frustrating to know that somehow you're not among the lucky one, the one who got everything fall smoothly on their laps without trying too hard... Anyway, I'm not gonna fret about how unfair life is, I'm just a little too excited to discover that I actually do achieved some of my 2009 resolution...

• Saving money instead of spending it... ----------> errr, this will be on the top of my next year resolution list, I can promise you guys that ^_^
• Learn how to swim... -------------> erm, baby steps, huhu~
• Learn how to cook... -------------> I'm still sucks but I will start buying more cookbook next year, hahaha =D
• Learn how to play guitar... ----------> @_@ I do learn how to play guitar eventhough it cost me my fingers, sob2 T_T
• Bungae jumping... -------------------> I'm not sure if its even possible in Msia, Y-Y
• Join dancing class... ---------------> I haven't succeed in persuading anyone to come with me yet, ^_~
• Get myself a NICE boyfriend... --------------> selfless man is so RARE, huh~
• Join a marathon ??? ---------------> I do join a marathon earlier this year, I can prove it, hehhhe =)
• Lead a healthier and happier life... ----------> I try not to eat lots of spicy food anymore, but I still can't totally escape sweet stuff, I just can't resist when it comes to dessert =P

See what I meant??? I do get some of it right at least, I'm so very proud of myself, ^_~ (I'm allowed to feel a little smug here, heehee =P) If only I can get everything on my list come true... *-*

I have so many wishes to begin with... I definitely hope some of it will come true though, hehehhe ^_~ I will turn 25 in just one day so I think there are no harms to dream big... This is just for fun anyway, I do love making lists, hehhehe ^_~

• Private guitar lesson with Jason Wade (Lifehouse) hehehhe ^_^

• Red heels in Grey's Anatomy opening credit (Christian Louboutin Very Prive) in every colors available...I want them all, hehehhe =D

• Mini Cooper S in silverish grey, so cute and cool~

• Chanel Classic Medium Flap Bag in white...

• Stila limited edition palette like The Sleeping Princess & The Pussycat Dolls

• Rachel Bilson's closet... I loves her fashion sense and style,simple but chic ^_^

My not so new year resolution...

The new year is just around the corner & It's hard to believe how fast the time flies this year... I wish this time around, I can fulfill all the promises I've made to myself even if it will definitely kill me to do it... =P This is, my 2009 resolutions:-

• Saving money instead of spending it... (very2 tough one ;P)
• Learn how to swim... (no lifeguard to save me from drowning, hehhe =D)
• Learn how to cook... (I might need to reconsider this one~)
• Learn how to play guitar... (anyone???)
• Bungae jumping... (I really2 excited to do this!!! =P )
• Join dancing class...(hehhe, I have to look for the ultimate "partner in crime" first =D)
• Get myself a nice boyfriend... (huh~ why I always end up with self centered men??)
• Join a marathon ??? (I need to work out first la... =P)
• Lead a healthier and happier life... (amin~)

Change me if you can...

Lots of things happened recently around the world (the Obama phenomenon, the economic crisis,etc) but unfortunately, I'm still the same old me... Don't get me wrong, I change my moods all the time and get bored easily but I rarely do big changes in life... I hate changes and try as I might, can't never let myself be someone else for anybody else... which is why I'm still single till now, hehhehe ^_^ To love and be loved for who you really are is the greatest thing ever... so guys, if you ever stumble and come across someone who love the real essence of you.... don't let them out of your sight =P (seriously, this is the person you really can count on in the rainy days... ) In honor of the coming new year; I have listed the changes I've made throughout this year-2008:-

• Get my ears pierced - I've wanting to get my ears pierced since forever but didn't really have the guts to do it, hehhhe =P thanx to my sis, Kak Zura I finally been forced to get it done... It's very2 painful, felt like your ears have been staple with stapler, totally dreadful =(
• Working out - I try to run at least once a month, hehhe =P still long way to go~
• Cut my daily tea intake - I drink way too much tea, more than "the english people" drink tea apparently.... I'm so addicted to tea, hehhhe =P
• Change my literacy preference - as I'm getting older, I guess I need to read more grown up books... and I'm too embrassed to read chic-lit in public anymore, hehhhe =P
• Be more happy and content with my life - I try my hardest to seek for my own happiness.. it sure doesn't come easily =( but I've finally come to terms with what I've got and be grateful for whatever I already have =)

I wish 2009 will bring many great things for me and all that dearest to me.... ^_^
